Readings

As part of the funeral rite, one may choose two readings, in addition to the Gospel reading which your presider will select. 

You should select one from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament. 

If you’d like a friend or family member to proclaim these readings during the funeral, please include their names below.  Otherwise, we will be happy to read them for you. 

The Prayer of the Faithful 

During the Funeral Mass, the community celebrates a love that is meant to touch many people.    The Prayers of the Faithful include intercessions for your deceased family member, the Church, for caregivers,  for the sick and those unable to be present, and for any addtional deceased family members and friends which you can indicate below.
