2017 Commissioning of Stephen Ministers 2017 Commissioning of Stephen Ministers
Christian Caregiving at Saint Mary’s Pastoral Ministry of Presence, Hope, Healing & Service Let us celebrate! The Parishioners of Saint Mary’s are cordially invited to the Blessing & Commissioning of Our Seventh Class of Stephen Ministers Sunday, May 7, during the Noon Mass

Who are these Stephen Ministers?

These women and men have answered a call of the heart to serve others and follow in Jesus’ footsteps. They desire to walk alongside someone as a compassionate, listening presence. They have completed an extensive formation program and are ready to enter into confidential, one-to-one, caring relationships to accompany those facing life’s many challenges or crises. We bless them and uphold them in prayer as they are sent out now to serve our community through this pastoral ministry.
