The Way
A powerful, inspirational story about family, friends and the challenges we face while navigating this complicated world. Martin Sheen plays Tom, an irascible American doctor who comes to France to deal with the tragic loss of his son (played by Emilio Estevez). Rather than return home Tom decides to embark on the historic pilgrimage “The Way of St. James” to honor his son’s desire to finish the journey> What Tom doesn’t plan on is the profound impact this will hve on him. Tom discovers the difference between “the life we live and the life we choose.”

The Heart Has Its Reasons

The story of Jean Vanier and the L’Arche community in France. The program focuses on the joys and struggles of daily life in community with mentally and physically handicapped people in France and the United States. We see small homes, not large institutions, daily chores and special celebrations – all framed by the L’Arche philosophy. Vanier, an international ly acclaimed author and lecturer, offers insights resulting from his years in Christian community.

Saint Mary’s Prayer for Discipleship

Blessed are You, Lord God of all creation,
In Your goodness You have created us,
In Your mercy You have redeemed us,
And in Your every loving Wisdom
You sustain us with your Spirit.
You have given us the gift of faith,
the gift of Saint Mary’s community,
and the gift of Your call to be Your disciples.
We beg You now for the gifts of:
Enlightenment
that through our PRAYER we may know Your holy and true command;
Discipleship
that we may SERVE the needs of the community and not simply our own; and,
Gratitude
that we may give of ourselves for the good of all.
May we discover what is ours to do and
may we do good works each day for the sake of Your Kingdom. Amen.

2016 Annual Fund
Pray Serve Give
Pray Serve Give

It's been 2 months since we launched the 2016-2017 Annual Fund and we have already raised $157,584.00. If you've already made a gift, thanks!

Your gift helps all our ministries like St. Mary's Adult Faith Formation.

Adult Faith Formation provides opportunities for adults to deepen their conversion to the Lord, encourages active participation in the life of the parish by offering a variety of experiences to empower them for their mission as disciples of Jesus. We have offered classes on a variety of topics, offered days of prayer and retreats. We hope to soon offer classes online.
