WELCOME TO ST. MARY'S YOUTH MINISTRY!

St. Mary's Youth Ministry welcomes ALL youth in grades 9-12!! Join us on a Wednesday evening for our Movie Nights from 7:30-9:30 PM in the Youth Center Building. We don't watch movies, but you will have the opportunity to catch up with friends, laugh, play games, pray together and build community.

Enjoy a retreat weekend throughout the year - whether it's your Freshman Journey Retreat, our Emmaus Retreat in February/March or our Antioch Retreat in July each year...we would love for you to be there!

Don't forget our service projects and trips throughout the year - our Bridges Run and Sandwich Making, visit to the Fr. English Center in the summer or our service trips to St. Francis Inn in Philadelphia or Nazareth Farm in West Virginia.

Three interdependent and equally important goals guide
St. Mary's Youth Ministry Program
1. To empower our youth to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today
2. To draw our youth to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of St. Mary's faith community; and
3. To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

Social Media
Social Media Dear Adult Volunteer,
Thank you for the time and gifts you share with the youth of the parish! Our programs are thriving because of your dedication to this ministry.
We are ministering in an age where social networking makes for fun and efficient ways to communicate with our families and teens! Our program is whole heartily embracing this new approach of getting out information. At the same time, as social networking websites such as Facebook and Instagram become increasingly popular we must strive to find an appropriate balance while interacting through this media.
St. Mary’s Youth Ministry serves not only to keep our youth safe, but also to protect the adults who serve them. Although being friends with an underage teen may appear to be harmless and a good way to keep in touch we ask that all communication between yourself and minors be done in a public and open forum.
For the safety of the children and the protection of adults, effective immediately, we are requesting that all adult volunteers refrain from “friending” any youth involved in St. Mary’s Youth Ministry on any social networking site until the time that the students have graduated the program.

Thank you for adhering to this policy. We look forward to partnering with you to encourage and nurture the faith of our youth in a place they feel safe.

Please read the our diocesan social media policy that we must adhere to at the link below.
