GIFT will begins its 5th year in January 2012. GIFT (Growing In Faith and Theology) is an exciting Adult Religious Education program. GIFT is a collaborative program sponsored by
many area parishes including: Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Our Lady of Holy Angels Church, Holy Cross Church, Holy Spirit Church, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Our Lady of Consolation Church, Our Lady of the Magnificat Church, Our Lady of the Valley Church, Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, St. Francis Church, St. Joseph’s Church and St. Mary’s Church.
Last year, over 250 people attended GIFT classes which cover a wide range of topics including: Scripture, Church History and other topics related to our faith. There is also a retreat day at the end of the GIFT program! Most classes are held at St. Mary’s Carnevale Center in Pompton Lakes. Classes begin at the end of January and meet one night each week for 3 or 4 weeks.
